Empowering Futures: Our Support & Training Programs

At RASV Home Realty CIC, housing is only the first step. Our dedicated support team provides Intensive Housing Management (IHM) and targeted training to ensure our residents—especially young adults—build the skills necessary for long-term success.

Life Skills & Tenancy Training

We prepare our residents for the real world. Our staff run weekly workshops covering:

• Budgeting, managing benefits, and financial literacy.
• Cooking healthy meals on a budget in our communal training kitchen.
• Understanding tenancy agreements, paying bills, and maintaining a home.
• Health, hygiene, and personal care routines.

Art, Craft & Therapeutic Engagement

Mental wellbeing is at the heart of what we do. Our unique Art & Craft Room is a safe space for residents to:

• Participate in weekly creative workshops.
• Express emotions through painting, drawing, and crafting.
• Reduce anxiety and build social bonds with fellow residents in a relaxed environment.

Youth Skill Building & Employability

For our younger residents and care leavers, we focus heavily on future-proofing their lives:

• CV Building & Interview Prep: Helping residents identify their strengths and apply for jobs or apprenticeships.
• IT & Digital Inclusion: Providing access to computers to apply for Universal Credit, housing, and employment.
• Community Volunteering: Encouraging residents to engage with local Birmingham projects to build confidence and references.

1-on-1 Key-Working

Every resident is assigned a dedicated Key Worker. Through weekly documented meetings, we set personal goals, monitor progress, and signpost residents to external health, substance misuse, or mental health services when required.
